Delete Your PhotoLife Account
You can ask us to delete your PhotoLife account at any time. When your account is deleted, your photos, journals and all your records are deleted with it, and this can’t be undone.
Delete It in the App (Fastest)
- Open PhotoLife and tap your profile photo in the top-left corner of the Home screen to open Settings.
- Tap “Delete Account” at the bottom of Settings.
- Read the notice, type “DELETE”, and tap “Delete Account Permanently”. Your account is deleted right away.
Can’t Open the App? Ask by Email
- Email support@photolife.app from the email address you registered with PhotoLife.
- Use the subject line “Delete my account”.
- Once we confirm that you own the account, we will delete it within 30 days and email you when it’s done.
If you signed in with Apple or Google, email us from the address linked to that account. If you used Apple’s “Hide My Email”, write from the relay address Apple created for you, or explain this in your email.
What Gets Deleted
- The account itself (email and sign-in method)
- Settings: nickname, profile photo, language, notification settings and chosen activities
- All photos
- Journals, “Today in one line” and your Schedule plans
- Activity check-ins, Unplug records and doodles
- Tree progress and collection
- Usage data linked to your account
What We Keep
We don’t keep any data that can identify you, unless the law requires us to. If you ever had a paid subscription, your subscription and payment records are kept by Apple or Google under their own rules.
Guest Accounts
Guest accounts (“Continue as Guest”) aren’t linked to an email, so once you sign out, we can’t tell which account was yours. If you’re using a guest account, delete it in the app before you sign out.
Cancel Your Subscription
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Cancel it first in your phone’s subscription settings so you won’t be charged again.
For more on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
